The drop down selection on twitter goes down, but there's nothing there, even though i am following people.
So usually we plug the modem into the wireless router and connect wirelessly. But for faster speeds I like to run the wire from the modem to my computer. Thus the wireless is still on and broadcasting but has no internet connection to it. The reason I still need to be connected to the wireless router is because I watch movies from my computer on TV via my X-Box. But whenever I plug strait from the modem and connect to the wireless it will not let me access the internet even though it says my LAN is connected to the internet. It's like being connected to the wireless network with no internet connection trumps being connected through plugging into the modem. Any idea how I can be connected to both because plugging directly in is WAY faster than using the wireless router.
